Christmas Wish List Part 2: Makeup

So as we all know Christmas is swiftly approaching and we girls love gifts!!!!!! If you are anything like me you've been dropping hints to your friends and loved ones regarding what you would like to see under the Christmas tree this year!! In a previous blog post I let you all know a few things I wanted to get this year which were mostly body products (because I'm addicted to body products lol) In this post I wanted to share some of the makeup items that are on my list. I hope that you all find something that you are interested in putting on your list as well, or just get inspired by some things that you may have been debating on getting. I hope this helps you all pick some holidays goodies. Enjoy and until next time XOXO!!!!!!!!!!!

First up is this AMAZING blush from Dior that I have had my eye on for some time now. The color on this blush is simply amazing on WOC.

Keeping things in the blush family I have really been eyeballing this gorgeous coral blush from none other than my favorite Chanel

Next up is this beautiful rose colored lip duo from Chanel

Of course I couldn't for get about the eyes, and of course I have heard nothing but great things about this mascara from Chanel Le Volume De Chanel has a cult following

This next product really intrigues me every time I go to the Dior  counter and it's the Dior water proof eyeliner in brown. I really wanna see if I'm going to love this.

In my last post I mentioned the lip glow from Dior which is still on my list, but since then I have had a lot of recommendations to try the Creme De Rose lip balm from Dior.

NexGen, Nail Care and Starbucks....................

Hey there beauties!! I wanted to stop in and share some new things that I have discovered over the past few weeks that MUST be shared. First are Nexgen nails!!! This is an awesome nail technic that is quickly gaining popularity and tons of buzz. Their claim to fame is that they  look and feel natural and cause no damage to your nail beds. I have only had my first set on for about one week, but I can already say I am hooked. The process to get them applied is basically a "dipping" technic in which the nail tech adds a coat of an acrylic adhesive and then "dips" your nail in the colored powder in layers until this thickness is appropriate. There are hardly any files used except for shaping purposes and absolutely no drilling involved. The adhesive along with the colored powders are vitamin enriched thus making you natural nails strong and durable, instead of weak and brittle like traditional acrylics or even gel polishes. The whole process only took 45 mins, meaning I was able to get them done on my lunch break from work which was a plus. The salon that I went to ( and will continue to go to) provided over 100 colors in a variety of shades and include a free removal process with every application. Meaning no extra charge to get them off in addition to getting a new set. My total was only $33 which was FAB considering everywhere else in my area charged $45 and up. I will list the info to the salon below if you are in the Atlanta/Alpharetta area. I will also link below the products I have been using to keep my cuticles moisturized as well as my hands and nails.

                                                                    Color #856

The next thing that I wanted to mention to you is for my coffee lover, and that is the chestnut praline latte from Starbucks!!!! OMG this is total latte goodness to the last drop. I tried one the other more night on my early drive to work and I must say Christmas came to mind.I do believe that I will be enjoying one Christmas morning for sure!!! If you get the opportunity stop by your local Starbucks and grab one. Until next time!!!!!!!! XOXOX, Roya

Skincare Essentials

Hey there beauties, I wanted to share with you all my current skincare routine since it has been requested from a few of my subbies on YouTube. Just a small back ground about my skin type and my main concerns with my skin. My skin is seasonally combination, which means it oily in the spring/summer months and dryer in the fall/winter months. Over the last 2 years or so I have been using all natural products on my skin. I started using Origins products exclusively and over time moved to using some products from Clarins. Both of these companies offer plant based natural products that my skin simply LOVES!! During my healthy skincare journey I discovered that my skin hates chemically based products and especially dislikes highly fragrance products. Several products that you find in the drugstore or even in high end department store seem to have a very bad reaction with my skin. my skin stays pretty clear and I have very few breakouts I attribute that to current routine. Listed below you will find all the products that I am currently using and loving (Links included). These products really assist me in combating hyper pigmentation and discoloration which is something that many women of color experience. Check out my latest YouTube video linked below to see my current routine. I hope this helps you all!!

My Newest Obsession...........Saffiano Leather!!

Hey there beauties!! I wanted to share a few things that are fashion related with you in this blog post. Lately I have been totally OBSESSED with saffiano leather!! So much so that when my wonderful hunny purchased the LAUREN By Ralph Lauren Tate tote in Dove Grey for me as a "just because" gift a few weeks back, I felt like I needed a couple of new pieces to compliment the bag. This bag is absolutely fabulous and perfect if you are like me, a working mom who is always on the go. I will feature a photo of the bag below and also link it for you.

Upon carrying this bag for several weeks I realized my beloved Kate Spade wallet was needing a break. So me being me I was officially on the hunt for something new. Leave it to Nordstrom to never steer me wrong, I ran across the Rebecca Minkoff Mason wallet and was instantly in love!!! This wallet was exactly what I needed, its large enough to hold what I need in addition to fitting well in most of my bags. The leather on this wallet is so sturdy and the wallet is very well crafted. Since this was my first small leather good from Rebecca Minkoff  I was a little worried considering I hadn't heard much about the brand. I must say I was beyond pleased, in addition to getting me the Mason wallet babe also got me the Molly metro wallet which I can't wait to use for traveling and throwing in my cross body bags. All in all I am pleased with my new saffiano leather goods and plan on adding to my collection soon. I recommend this particular type of leather for those who want something that's really going to hold up over time. I hope you all enjoyed this post and I'll see you in the next one. Until next time.......................XOXO Roya

Hi there beauties, I wanted to stop in and share with you my extreme excitement for the upcoming season. I truly adore the fall and winter months. Fall Shoe Picks 2015

Hey there beauties, I wanted to come here really quickly and share with you some of the shoes that I have picked up for the upcoming fall season. If you know me well then you know that I love this season and consider it the BEST fashion season EVER!!! From ankle booties to moccasins I have found some great picks for fall. Listed below are my picks I will try to link all of them below. I hope you enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first pair of shoes I purchased were the canvas moccasins from Minnetonka. They are sooooo comfortable and a great addition to a casual fall outfit. The link is here link

These are the Sperry Biscayne in Leopard. When I saw these I just knew they were for me, and would definitely be perfect for the fall. Who doesn't love leopard?! These would compliment jeans or even leggings so well. you can find them at Nordstom I will link them here

Can you say YAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSS!!!!! These bad boys are going to get so much love from me not only for fall but for winter as well. These booties are so edgy, yet classic I simply adore them. I was able to get these from Target and they are very well made. You can find them here

Edgy goodness!!!!! These caught my eye because they were so simple but edgy. They pair well with any leather leggings or moto jacket. The lace up feature is also very easy to work with and they don't require you to break them in they are already super comfy out the box. You can find them here

Lastly are these super versatile open toe booties that I found on clearance at Target a few weeks back. I was so happy to get these they go with literally EVERYTHIING. Leggings, jeans, dresses you name it. I was unable to find the link but they are called   Merona Women's Maddie Perforated Chop Out Booties and you can find them at Target.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Until next time XOXO, Roya
